This chapter deals with the AixBOMS DCM Navigator application, the built-in module for managing data centers (areas, distribution cabinets and power). It describes the specific features of the DCM Navigator application and explains how to use them.
Area Editor preferences are set in the DCM > Area Editor section of the Preferences dialog (Window > Preferences) and the corresponding subsections. For all configurations made in the Preferences dialog the Apply button has to be selected before confirming the changes with OK.
All settings made in the Preferences dialog are general user-specific settings, i.e. they are stored locally for the connected user and are therefore available for all Area Plans.
